With over 30 years of experience in the marketplace, I have developed a profound understanding of leadership dynamics. Raised as a military dependent for 18 years, after graduation I enlisted in the Air Force, where I honed leadership skills that set me on a course of becoming a lifelong student of learning and leading others to achieve their dreams and goals.
Before founding MR Consulting, I led 4 manufacturing organizations, starting at the ground level in 1990 to working my way up into the C-suite, I never stopped striving to be an effective and motivated leader.
On a personal note, I am married to my best friend, Rachel Ann. Together, we have 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. We are actively involved in our community, offering marriage and personal growth coaching, serving on local community boards, and serving in our local church.
My grandfather was a lobsterman on Spruce Head Island, Maine, and I had the privilege of spending my summer vacations by his side. I would help on his lobster boat, filling bait bags that were then placed inside the lobster traps. The photo above captures the playground where I spent countless summers, surrounded by the beauty of the coast and the rhythm of daily life on the water in a fishing community.
Anything related to the water—whether it's boating, strolling along the shore, or simply sitting in a chair at Rockport Harbor, Maine, watching the lobstermen return from their daily haul as they sell their fresh catch of the day, creating a serene and authentic coastal experience.
